Aims and Scope: The International Journal of Operations Management and Services (JOMS)  is peer-reviewed (refereed) international research journal, covering the areas of service and manufacturing operations management in general. Considering the globalization of services and manufacturing, a journal focusing on global perspective of operations management is of paramount importance. Globalization of market and operations places a tremendous pressure on productive management of services and manufacturing enterprises. 
    New strategies, techniques and technologies for improving productivity and quality in both manufacturing and services will be the main focus of JOMS, which aims to shape the future of service and manufacturing operations. The main objectives of JOMS are to promote research and practice of new strategies, techniques and technologies for improving the organizational competitiveness of both service and manufacturing industries around the world. JOMS aims to help professionals working in the field of services and operations management, academic educators, industry consultants, and practitioners to contribute, to disseminate and to learn from each other’s work. 
    The journal's readership extends well beyond academia and attracts audience from national treasuries and corporate treasuries, central banks and investment banks, and major international financial and marketing organizations. To maintain the quality of this journal, all articles are reviewed according to a set of international standards and guidelines.
