Instruction for Authors
Manuscript Submission: Authors need to submit their manuscripts

one of the Associate Editors. Authors are encouraged,
whenever possible, to recommend three referees’ names (including mailing
and e-mail addresses)
who are experts in the contents of the submitted manuscript. The Editorial
Board may or may not use these recommended referees.
Preparation
of Manuscript: Preparation of Manuscript: Manuscripts must be prepared
using Word, Rich Text Format, Tex, AMS.Tex, LaTex, or PDF format for
IBM-compatible computers. Word or Rich Text Format is preferred.
Manuscripts submitted to IJME should not exceed 25 typeset, printed
pages, double-spaced with size of 12 points. Also:
Title: The title of the article should be concise and definitive with no mathematical symbols. Abstract:
Abstract
should be no more than 200 words. The abstract should give a clear
indication of the objective, scope, and results of the paper in order for
the readers to determine whether the full text will be of particular
interest to them. Equations:
Place equation numbers in parentheses at the right margin. Tables:
Tables should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the
text. Type each table double-spaced on a separate page with a short
descriptive title directly above and with essential footnotes below. Figures:
Number figures consecutively. Supply a descriptive legend for each figure.
Type legends double-or triple spaced consecutively on a separate sheet.
Because of technical complications that can arise in converting color
figures to “gray scale”, please submit in addition usable
black-and-white files corresponding to all the color illustrations. Footnotes:
Footnotes in the text should be avoided. References: The references to the literature should be cited in the text by numbers within the square brackets, as [1], [1,4], or [3, Theorem 2.5], etcetera. The references must be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the article. The references should be cited in accordance with the following examples: [1] Tipping, M.E., 2001, "Sparse Bayesian Learning and the Relevance Vector Machine", Journal of Machine Learning Research, 1(3), pp. 211-214. [2] Jones, J., 2000, Contact
Mechanics, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, UK, Chap. 6. [3] Ning, X., and Lovell, M. Paper Acceptance: The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief upon recommendation of the Editorial Board Members. If the manuscript is accepted for publication in IJME, it must not be published in any periodicals elsewhere without the permission of the editorial board. Copyright: Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has been neither published nor submitted for publication, in whole or in part, either in a serial, professional journal, or as a part in any book which is formally published and made available to the public. For the mutual benefit and protection of authors, their institutions, and IJME publisher, it is necessary that authors provide formal written consent to transfer copyright (Copyright Form.) prior to the publication of their work. Proofs: Proofs of the accepted article will be sent electronically to the corresponding author and should be returned within one week of the receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors only; any other corrections may be charged to the authors. Authors are advised to check their proofs very carefully before returning them to IJME. No late or last-minute corrections can be accepted. The corrected proof of the article is to be returned to the IJME publisher. Page Charge:
No page charge. For color figures, Authors are requested to arrange page charges of their papers
at the rate of US$ 50 per printed
colored figure or a composite figure, which will be invoiced, through the
author, to the author's company, institute, or agency.

The
first issue of Journal (IJME) is expected to be
launch from the month of March 2007 with three issues in a year. Special Issues: From time to time Guest Editors are invited to produce Special Issues consisting of three or more articles grouped around a common theme. Proposals for Special Issues are welcome, as are Guest Editorials and Announcements.
