Communications in Applied Geometry (CAG)
Instruction for Authors
Submission: Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically to ripublication@gmail.com with mention journal title (CAG) in subject line.
Preparation
of Manuscript: Manuscripts
must be prepared using Tex, AMS.Tex, LaTex, or PDF format for
IBM-compatible computers. Manuscripts
submitted to CAG should not exceed 25 typeset, printed pages. Also:
Title: The title of the article should be concise and definitive with no mathematical symbols. Abstract:
Abstract
should be no more than 200 words. The abstract should give a clear
indication of the objective, scope, and results of the paper in order for
the readers to determine whether the full text will be of particular
interest to them. Equations:
Place equation numbers in parentheses at the right margin. Tables:
Tables should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the
text. Type each table double-spaced on a separate page with a short
descriptive title directly above and with essential footnotes below. Figures:
Number figures consecutively. Supply a descriptive legend for each figure.
Type legends double-or triple spaced consecutively on a separate sheet.
Because of technical complications that can arise in converting color
figures to “gray scale”, please submit in addition usable
black-and-white files corresponding to all the color illustrations. Footnotes:
Footnotes in the text should be avoided. References: The references to the literature should be cited in the text by numbers within the square brackets, as [1], [1,4], or [3, Theorem 2.5], etcetera. The references must be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the article. The references should be cited in accordance with the following examples: [1] Barnes, M., 2001, "Stresses in Solenoids," J. Appl. Phys., 48(5), pp. 2000–2008. [2] Jones, J., 2000, Contact

Paper Acceptance: The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief upon recommendation of the Editorial Board Members. If the manuscript is accepted for publication in CAG, it must not be published in any periodicals elsewhere without the permission of the editorial board. Copyright: Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has been neither published nor submitted for publication, in whole or in part, either in a serial, professional journal, or as a part in any book which is formally published and made available to the public. For the mutual benefit and protection of authors, their institutions, and CAG publishers, it is necessary that authors provide formal written consent to transfer copyright (Copyright Form.) prior to the publication of their work. Proofs: Proofs of the accepted article will be sent electronically to the corresponding author and should be returned within one week of the receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors only; any other corrections may be charged to the authors. Authors are advised to check their proofs very carefully before returning them to CAG. No late or last-minute corrections can be accepted. The corrected proof of the article is to be returned to the CAG publishers. Publication
Cost: Authors
of accepted papers are requested to arrange for the page charges of their
papers at the rate of US $15 per page to cover the publication and
other miscellaneous expenses. These charges will be invoiced, through the
corresponding author, to the authors’ companies, institutes, or
agencies. Page charges are mandatory and are waived ONLY when it is
highly recommended by the Editors-in-chief. Reprints: Fifty reprint copies of the published article are provided to the corresponding author. Additional sets of reprints may be ordered at the time of proof correction. Frequency of Publication: CAG is a quarterly journal appearing in January, April, July, and October of each year. The first issue of CAG is expected to appear in April 2006. Special Issues: From time to time Guest Editors are invited to produce Special Issues consisting of three or more articles grouped around a common theme. Proposals for Special Issues are welcome, as are Guest Editorials and Announcements.
