The Eurasian Astronomical Society (EAAS) was founded in the Spring of 1990 as an independent association of astronomers from various fields of astronomy and astrophysics. The main purpose of the society is to maintain the development of astronomy and to reinforce communications between astronomers in the former Soviet Union and their colleagues all over the world.
Aims and Scope: The Astronomical and Astrophysical Transactions (AApTr) provides a forum for the rapid publication of material from all modern and classical fields of astronomy and astrophysics, as well as material concerned with astronomical instrumentation and related fundamental sciences. It includes both theoretical and experimental original research papers, short communications, review papers and conference reports.
Publication Date and Frequency: Volume 27, 2009, 6 issues per year.
Submission: Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org with mention journal title (AApTr) in subject line.
Published papers in AApTr will be given in Astronomical Data Service of SAO/NASA (http://adsabs.harvard.edu). After acceptance of papers Eurasian Astronomical Society automatically acquires copyrights for all papers.
